Filing Santa's Shelves Picture and Word Match Up

Filling Santa's Shelves Picture and Word Match Up

In this activity a child places the toy images on the correct shelf in Santa's workshop.

There are two sets of word and images, one more difficult than the other.

There are multiple cards for each set of images, so children don't get bored.

Sunshine absolutely LOVED this activity and completed it on a daily basis. She used the words that were easiest to read.

Christmas Synonyms Match Up

Christmas Synonyms Match Up

Using the words from favorite Christmas songs related to our favorite reindeer, we have created a beautiful synonyms sorting activity.

A child sort word strips, placing them under the correct image and word.

Sunshine really enjoyed this activity and did quite well at it, so long as I read the words aloud to her.

Santa's Bag Toy Counting Activity

Santa's Bag Toy Counting Activity

When selecting this activity from the shelves, a child chooses a bag with a number written on it.

She then cuts out the corresponding number of toy images at the bottom of the page and glues them on the bag.

If one didn't want to include glue and scissors in the activity, it would be easy to cut out each number bag and toy pieces, placing the correct number in each bag.

Sunshine did this activity over and over and over again and loved every minute of it.

I loved that she was practicing her cutting and reading skills.

She particularly loved the toys in this activity as they reminded her very much of toys in her favorite Christmas reindeer movie.

Christmas Reindeer Sequencing Activity

Christmas Reindeer Sequencing Activity

This activity invites a child to put Santa's reindeer in order according to the song about them.

Sunshine really enjoyed this activity as well.

Eventually she did ask me to replace number strips with the reindeer's names, which was super easy to do using some cardstock.

Christmas Bells Multiplication Clip Card Activity

Christmas Bells Multiplication Activity

Bells are such a fun and fabulous way to practice multiplication with an added sensory component.

In this activity a child selects a card and uses bells to figure out the answer (if needed).

She then places a glass bead on the correct answer.

Sunshine, who usually isn't too excited about math activities, was thrilled by this one and enjoyed using the bells so much!

Silver and Gold Sorting Activity

Silver and Gold Sorting Activity

This activity was inspired by a special song in Sunshine's favorite Christmas reindeer movie.

A child sorts images between silver and gold.

Silver and gold aren't usually colors that are focused on as much as rainbow colors, so learning them can be very fun and interesting for kids.

Instead of using the provided picture cards, it would also be very easy to find silver and gold objects to use.
