One of the ways we stay as sane as possible with so many special needs in the house is to embrace minimalism in every way that we can.
Minimalism and Montessori go hand in hand. They are both about a focus on the prepared environment that encourages freedom and learning.
Both encourage peace and a love for our planet.
Here you will find all off our minimalism supports and resources. Most of these resources also include a Montessori touch.
We hope that they inspire!

A Minimalist Montessori Home Tour
Several years ago we sold our 2000+ square foot home in a city and moved to a 1600 square foot home located in the country, purposely downsizing our family of six.
As we work to make each and every room of our house as functional as possible, using minimalism and Montessori principles, we love to share the results.
Here are rooms that are functioning at their best for the time period they were designed for.
You will notice over time that rooms change and move around to best meet the needs of our family. This page will continually be updated as we meet the needs of each phase of life.
Just click on the images to see rooms in our minimalist Montessori home!
We hope you have enjoyed our minimalist Montessori home tour. Every room in the house is designed to meet the needs of all family members including those who are neurodiverse and struggle with complex trauma.
