NEW U.S. Presidents Bundle

I sit here and write this post as I watch the 2nd Trump Impeachment Trial on TV with my children.

My children have asked to watch it, wanting to develop an understanding of our democratic process.

I have been so impressed as they've made the request to listen to both sides, and take perspective.  They know and love people on all sides of the political debate.

No matter how much we want to protect our children from the stress of our current political climate, they can feel it, and are desperately trying to make sense of what's going on with the leadership of our  country.

The NEW U.S. Presidents Bundle has been created to help children understand U.S. presidents, past and present, in a way that shows love and respect for all Americans, without political bias.

It has been designed to show, that though people disagree in big ways, including presidents of the U.S. throughout history, democracy prevails.  This is a message that we all need right now.

There are four parts to the New U.S. Presidents Bundle.
  • Montessori-inspired U.S. Presidents Printable Pack
  • Montessori-inspired U.S. Presidents Printable Pack for Preschoolers
  • Montesssori-inspired U.S. Vice Presidents Printable Pack
  • Montessori-inspired U.S. First Ladies Printable Pack

In total the bundle includes 312 pages designed for children in Montessori preschool and elementary classrooms.

Let's take a closer look at each part.

U.S. Presidents Printable Pack

The Montessori-inspired U.S. Presidents Printable Pack was the first part of the U.S. Presidents Bundle to be created.

It was while creating this printable pack that we quickly realized that any product about U.S. presidents needed more depth.

Yes! It's important to know the names of all of the U.S. presidents.

This can be challenging for many. Creating multiple activities to help with this process to reach every learner was important to us, and so we did just that.

Yes! It's important to know the order in which the U.S. presidents served our country.

Learning this order can also be extremely difficult for many.  This is why we included multiple ways to learn this concept in our printable pack.

But...

The history of the U.S. is not just about a bunch of white guys, their names, and the order they served.

The actions of every U.S. president affects ALL in our nation, including those who are not caucasian and male.

We wanted to show that in an unbiased, factual, and kid-friendly way. So that's what we set out to do.

Our entire family spent weeks researching each and every U.S. president to create an amazing book and Who Am I? cards included in the U.S. Presidents Printable Pack.

My kids read through multiple books about U.S. presidents, writing notes on index cards for each and every president.  Once we gathered their information we fact checked and researched more details online, confirming each fact in at least three different sources.

Finally, we had our kids read through every card we finalized, making sure that the facts they felt important were included, and that they could understand everything.

Our kids can't keep their hands off of this book and cards.  We hope you love them just as much!

Our last realization after creating this bundle, was that we were lacking printables and activities for children who couldn't read and write yet.  This is when we decided to create a second printable pack designed specfically for little ones, but can also be used with elementary students.

U.S. Presidents Printable Pack for Preschoolers

This printable pack was incredibly fun to create!  How do you teach little ones about U.S. presidents past and present without overwhelming them?  I took this challenge to heart knowing that my youngest would need just that.

Unlike the U.S. Presidents Printable Pack, the U.S. Presidents Printable Pack for Preschoolers only includes U.S. presidents on American currency and on monuments in Washington D.C. and Mount  Rushmore.

It aslo includes a special section all about our current U.S. President Joe Biden.

None of the activities require reading or writing, only matching as well as letter and number identificaiton.

Once again we were challenged with the task of making this printable pack not just about a bunch of white guys, but about the people and for the people.  We strived to do this through our Where's President Joe Biden book included.

We are most excited about all of the activities about American currency, focused on U.S. presidents. They are fantastic ways to introduce money and other math concepts.

Upon completion of the Montessori-inspired U.S. Presidents Printable Pack for Preschoolers, we realized that we our bundle would not be complete without the inclusion of a U.S. Vice Presidents Printable Pack.

Many U.S. presidents were vice presidents first.

Then there's the fact that we can't not celebrate President Biden's choice of Vice President Kamala Harris! She is the first woman vice president, and also the first black woman vice president, AND woman of Asian descent who is vice president!

U.S. Vice Presidents Printable Pack

The first part of the U.S. Vice Presidents Printable Pack includes several activities about current U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris.

These can be used alone or in conjunction with similar activities about President Joe Biden included in the U.S. Presidents Printable Pack for Preshoolers.

The second part of the printable pack includes U.S. vice president nomenclature cards that can be used alone or with the U.S. president nomenclature cards included in the U.S. Presidents Printable Pack.

Once we created U.S. vice president nomenclature cards, the kids decided we also needed to create U.S. First Lady Nomenclature Cards.

U.S. First Ladies Nomenclature Cards

U.S. First Ladies Nomenclature Cards

We learned so much creating these nomenclature cards.  I had no idea that some U.S. presidents had more than one first lady, and that some were not wives of the presidents.

These cards are so much fun to match up with the U.S. presidents nomenclature cards included in the U.S. Presidents Printable Pack, or they can be used as a stand alone activity.

We are so excited about how the U.S. Presidents Bundle turned out.  All in our family feel confident that others will enjoy it as much as we do, especially in areas where we spent so much time researching each U.S.president and included diversity where we could.

For a limited time only, now through March 10, 2021 you can purchase this amazing bundle at 75% OFF for only $14.99.

After March 10, 2021 you will have to purchase individual components of the bundle at regular price.

Whether you're studying U.S. presidents for an upcoming holiday or are studying American History and are lacking activities about U.S. presidents, this bundle is for you.

Everything included can be used in one way or another for all children in Montessori preschool and elementary classes.
