Fall Harvest Noun Activities with Free Printables

As part of our language curriculum this year, we're studying nouns.

The kiddos have learned the basic definition of a noun, and are able to identify the noun in a sentence.

They have not learned about feminine versus masculine nouns.

We have not formally introduced singular versus plural nouns either.

Our Fall Harvest Noun Activities teach these concepts and more!

Fall Harvest Noun Family Fall Phrase Match Up

Fall Harvest Noun Family Fall Phrase Match Up

Over the past few months all three older kiddos have learned to read proficiently.  This has been so exciting and provides so many great opportunities for activities that involve reading, like this one.

The kiddos will match Fall themed phrases with pictures, using the control provided.  They will then practice their knowledge of the noun family, placing article, adjective, and noun Montessori grammar symbols above the correct words in each phrase.

Fall Singular and Plural Nouns

Fall Singular and Plural Noun Sort

This is by far, everyone's favorite noun activity on the shelves right now.  There are so many fun autumn themed manipulatives to enjoy.

In the basket there are several different fall themed objects.   There are three of each type.  In the middle of the basket there are also noun cards.

The kiddos will sort singular versus plural nouns, placing the corresponding objects beside them.  Singular words are placed with one matching object.  Plural words are placed with two matching objects.
