Self Care Resources for Homeschooling Moms (Learn & Play Link Up)

It would be an understatement to say that life has been a bit difficult lately.  The past three weeks have seemed like a marathon of appointments, most about 90 minutes away one way.  Thankfully some have been locally.  Yesterday alone, between my husband and I, we attended three appointments.  Needless to say I am emotionally and mentally exhausted.  My patience is thin.  I can't get anything done at home.  My house is not just a mess but dirty.  (I'm one of those people who can't think clearly unless my home environment is clean, calm, and relaxing.)  Changes in routines and schedules have thrown my kiddos off, causing complete chaos, which then increases the volume and the physical needs in our home A LOT.  I have cried more times than I'd like to admit since the beginning of the new year.

Originally I had planned on featuring several of the fabulous activities linked up to last week's Learn & Play Link Up, but at the moment all of that seems a little too overwhelming.  There are times when we just need to take a step back, relax, recharge and delight in some self care, while at the same time pushing forward, doing the best that we can, knowing that this too shall pass.  This week's features are to inspire you to do just that.  I hope you enjoy!
