I have had this same dream for 30 years - combining Montessori Method with special needs learners. I live in N W Ohio and any kind of learning environment is sparse for these kids unless one is in the public school. Even then it is not a good situation for most of them. Thank you for your inspiration and help. I have bought the ABC's of Montessori and Special Needs. I am a trained Montessori teacher and have a Master's in ECE I look forward to reading your blog and seeing what you are up to. Thanks so much
Thank you for sharing, I only teach 1 grandchild preschool at home, after 25 years teaching in upper elementary and middle school. So much quieter and relaxed which we get a lot more completed and still have fun!!!
Having only followed on social media, but following for some time, I have recently discovered how beneficial your stories, tips, and experiences have been for me with my children - of which there is a wide range in ages as well as some diagnoses and some yet unknown other factors. I appreciate the work you put into sharing your story and the help it provides to others like me. Thank you.
We’ve been struggling with 1 of our daughters’ behavior for almost 10 years and just recently in the last 2 years was told she has symptoms of RAD. It is tearing our family apart, especially my 2 younger children. Reading some of these articles has made me feel like we are not alone, that there is some kind of guidance to help us on this path.
Your site and materials are top notch!!! KUDOS!!
